(Being a Commentary on Anthony Ubani’s postulations on Arise TV about the Fatally Flawed 1999 Constitution of Nigeria and the prospects of heading to another round of National Elections in 2027 under that Constitution) – March 25, 2025.

Confused Logic is to declare that Nigeria’s Fraudulent Unitary Constitution is responsible for the many woes of Nigeria but unable to see that the solution lies in the immediate Decommissioning of that Constitution before any other business, particularly Elections.

Though he was able to regurgitate what he imbibed from NINAS about the fatally flawed Constitution of Nigeria but it is clear that this speaker does not understand the meaning of Constitution as the Foundation upon which the Union and its Democracy is erected.

He still speaks of the Constitution as the Booklet that will have to be replaced with another Booklet.

He has put no thoughts to the Process by which Constitutions are made, particularly for a Federation.

It is clear this speaker has put no thoughts to the sequence that must begin with the Wholesale Jettisoning of the fatally flawed and imposed Constitution of Nigeria we now have; the Transitioning we must initiate in place of plunging to further National Elections in 2027 under the 1999 Constitution, for the Grand Renegotiation and for the Reconfiguration of the failed Unitary Union foisted by the current Constitution.

He lost his way completely in the forest when he began to talk about the National Assembly that would lead the way to giving him another Constitution.

Happily, what NINAS can take from it all is that the whole Country now knows that the Unitary Constitution of Nigeria (1999) is so fundamentally and fatally flawed that it must be Decommissioned wholesale AND that all the terrible problems of Nigeria are flowing from that flawed Constitution. The rest of the discussion will be about:

• WHAT exactly to do,

• HOW to do it,

• WHO will do it,

• WHEN it will be done and by

• WHICH process-sequence it will all be done,

start-to-finish from where Nigeria is right now, namely- in a precarious and dangerous Constitutional Logjam.

Only NINAS has answers to all five highlighted questions of WHAT, HOW, WHO, WHEN and WHICH of Nigeria’s Union Reconstruction Imperative. Those answers are embedded in the NINAS 5-Point Proposition.

Another happy takeaway for NINAS is the fact that everyone now seems to knows that the ongoing maneuvering and marauding by political merchants in preparation for Voyage to 2027 Elections under the untenable 1999 Constitution is the reason Chaos is building up across Nigeria. The NINAS task of rallying the Traumatized Peoples of Nigeria into shutting down the doomed voyage to 2027 as a demonstration of their Rejection of Nigeria’s Unitary Constitution (1999), is now clearly framed by the these developments and altercations.
